Review on Garnier Aqua Defense Essense

Tuesday, October 23, 2018 0 Comments

This is a review about The Garnier Aqua Defense Essense. It's not a paid review ya I just want to share with you guys the pros and cons of this product. I bought this moisturizer a long time ago and I still have it like a little residue left but I don't want to use it anymore because I have a better moisturizer.

The Garnier Aqua Defense Essense comes in a light green gel form in a tub. The tub is big and cute.

So here is what Garnier says about the moisturizer :

Daily stress and pollution can dehydrate your skin and cause it look dull and dry. Garnier new upgraded Aqua Defense non-stop intensive hydrating essence, enriched with Mountain Spring Water -- helps enhance skin's natural water retention ability; anti-oxidant white tea & green tea extract -- helps protect skin from external aggressions, giving you a smooth and soft complexion.

Direction for use :

Use it every morning and evening, apply on perfectly cleanse face and neck.

Ingredients :

Aqua/water, glycerin, alcohol, dimethicone, isononyl isononanoate, vitis vinifera extract/grape fruit water, carbomer, calcium gluconate, camellia sinensis leaf extract, dimethiconol, sodium citrate, sodium hydroxide, actinidia chinensis water/kiwi fruit water, magnesium gluconate, ascorbyl glucoside, caprylyl glycol, tetrasodium EDTA, biosaccheride gum-1, xanthan gum, menthoxypropanediol, tocopheryl acetate, phenoxyethanol, chlorphenesin, CI 19140, CI 42090, linalool, hydroxyisohexyl 3-cyclohexene caeboxaldehyde, butylphenyl methylpropional, benzyl alcohol, benzyl salicylate, parfum.

After I tried the moisturizer ..

This moisturizer has a minty feeling and makes me feels like there is alcohol on it, makes my face feel so weird and it kinda stings a bit though.

When you look at the ingredient, it has an alcohol, maybe that's why my face stings when I applied the moisturizer.

I have a dry skin so it doesn't really help on hydrating my skin that much. But it's so-so lah. I read on the review and someone said that "it can sting when you first apply it, but the gel absorbs so quickly that the stinging doesn't last and after using it for a few days your skin should be so well moisturized that you'll no longer get the stinging anyway."

Sighs I just wish that worked on me but sadly it doesn't.

It may be worked on anyone else, who knows? It depends on the person and the skin type.

So here's the verdict :

Pros:

i) It doesn't break me out.

ii) It's cheap and affordable. You can get it at Watson or Guardian.

Cons:

i) The gel texture gives a refreshing feeling, but it doesn't keep my face moisturised for the entire day. After 4-5 hours, my face feels greasy.

ii) The moisturizer irritates my skin.

iii) The smell can be a little bit strong.

The Garnier Aqua Defense is available at local pharmacies and it's not that hard to find. That's all I guess. Thank you so much for reading this haha

Stay beautiful, ladies.

Rich Man Korean Drama

Friday, May 18, 2018 0 Comments

This week Korean Drama recommendation is Rich Man.

The drama follows the blossoming romance between a cold and arrogant CEO who can't distinguish faces and his secretary who has an excellent memory. Exo's Suho as Lee Yoo Chan and Ha Yeon Soo as Kim Bora.

Lee Yoo Chan is the CEO of IT company Next In. He doesn't trust people in general. Meanwhile Kim Bora was born in the countryside on Jeju Island. She goes to Seoul to attend college and carries her family's high expectation. Her dream is to work at Next In Company. They both meet and their lives change.

Lee Yoo Chan also a very charismatic lead and the main love interest, but he is a total jerk! His interviewing technique alone is downright evil. He calls on individuals in front of their competitors and eliminates them on the spot. If I was in the interview I'd probably cry haha. But it's probably best not to judge him on his actions, he will change completely by mid drama.

The best thing I liked about Bora is, no matter the situation, she never stops being her bright, sunny self. She got rejected 30 times on his job application and she finds a renewed sense of energy from the strangers she meets on the street. I love her so mucchhh!. She also has a photographic memory, which is damn good and you can tell that she'd be the type of enthusiastic worker that shows up early and leaves late, a really hardworking girl.

Honestly, I really like Ha Yeon Soo and I think the lead actor is doing a good job! They portrays the emotions really well and I feel like the original and the remake are both good! Also Suho looks so hot when he's angry haha.

Kek Batik Milo Recipe

Tuesday, May 15, 2018 0 Comments

Hi guys! It's almost Ramadhan! Can you believe it? Only a one day left. Time to clean up your mind and soul. I'm so happy and excited for this year Ramadhan to be honest. I think that time passes so quickly. Alhamdulillah I'm still alive until now.

I can't wait to eat Nasi Impit and Ayam masak Kicap. Mmm my all time favorite dishes. What's your favorite Hari Raya Aidilfitri dishes? hehe

Okay back to the topic, I made a Kek Batik today. I know Kek Batik is really famous in Malaysia and I think that everyone know how to make it? But if you don't know the recipe you can refer mine hehe. It's easy to make too!

Ingredient :

2 cup of milo
1/2 tin condensed milk
1 book of buttercup margerine
1 packet of Marie biscuit
1 tsp of essence vanilla

How to make it ? :

1. Add the melted butter and condensed milk into the pan.

2. Mix well and heat it with a low heat.

3. Add Milo into the pan.

4. Mix well all the ingredient until there is no lump.

5. Add vanilla essence, mix well and turn off the stove.

6. Insert the broken biscuits into a saucepan and mix well.

7. Place it in a container or loyang and compacted the cake.

8. Store in refrigerator for 4 hours until it is hard.

Tada! It's really sweet and tasty 👍

If you like a crunchy milo batik cake recipe, do not mix the biscuits in a milo mixture but arrange a layer of Marie biscuit layer. If you prefer a soft batik cake, crack the biscuits first and let them soft a little. Batik cake will feel softer and delicious to eat. Also today is my sister's birthday! Really glad I made this haha.

My voting Experience.

Thursday, May 10, 2018 0 Comments

Hi guys~

Yesterday was the polling day. To tell you the truth, it was so tiring. But then I think that yesterday was a very important day and I need to fulfill my responsibility as a Malaysian resident, I have to. That was my first time to vote. I did vote when I was at Politeknik but it was well, for the Politeknik, of course.

I went out from my house around 8.30 am and when I arrived at the elementary school, the queue already so long. I really missed this school, it brings back memories honestly. I saw my classroom, the canteen and the places where I used to play with my friends back then.

I used to play volleyball and badminton there! It's really nice.

There's 9 line and mine was 9. My dad said line 5 is the longest and it jammed omg because of too many people and they almost gonna fight though. I feel sorry for them. Line 8 was the shortest and I was so jealous. They didn't have to wait for long. They were so lucky T_T

I only ate biscuits for breakfast and I really regret it. At first I'm still good, but then after 1 hour I was so hungry and I already doesn't feel that good.

I met my some of my old friends and my spirit lifted. After 2 hours finally it was my turn and I was sooo happy that finally its going to be over. I entered the classroom, gave my identification card and mark "x" at the candidates that i choose and YASSS ITS OVER YAYY I CAN GO HOME ! So yeah, my job here is done and my father bought me air kelapa. what a nice and good experience haha.

I seriously thought that I'm going to die, haha joking. Also the scorching sun makes my face sunburn because I forgot to apply some sunscreen. Maybe next time, I'm going to be more prepared yeah. Also congrats to the winner, I hope they did a good job for this country. Okay that's all. I love Malaysia. Bye~

Review On Photobook

Hi guys! How are you doing?

Have you guys ever heard of Photobook? Photobook is the printing services that can be delivered right in front of your doorstep! From wedding albums, engagement books, books of trips and one full of family pictures, to personal portfolios and corporate books, you can always count on to Photobook.

Honestly, before this I saw a lot of Photobook ads all around the internet, but I'm not really interested because I'm afraid that the quality is not that good.

But until then I saw someone posting a thread on twitter about how to print pictures in a book using Photobook apps on the phone and I said to myself I have to buy this! I have so many pictures to print!

My graduation was in 2016 and honestly, my friend and I took so many pictures that day, but I'm too lazy to go to the printing shop, so I decided to try Photobook apps. Using the apps was a lot of easier to me because the feature is not that hard to use. Sometimes Photobook have a lot of discount and promos from calendar, book, picture canvas and etc.

I just have to select the book size, and then choose the picture that I want to print, select the paper type, and then proceed to the payment. Oh, and don't forget to upload all your picture so that they will proceed to print your picture. That time Photobook gave a discount Rm 1 for 20 pages of 6x6 book. It's so cheap I just can't believe it. I just have to pay the shipping fees which are Rm 9. So the total is Rm 10.

2-3 days later I got my parcel and I opened it, smiling curved into my face because of my beautiful photo album. It was so pretty and nice. The quality of the picture is astounding and I look like I was in a magazine or something. I really love it and I will definitely use Photobook again for this year Hari Raya Aidilfitri haha.
