1.  Grammarly.

Grammarly is a cloud-based English-language writing-enhancement platform developed by Grammarly, Inc. The software was first released in late 2009. Grammarly's proofreading and plagiarism-detection resources check against more than 250 grammar rules.

2. Mailtrack

Email Tracking for Gmail & Inbox | Download here

This software is really useful for me because it can see which emails have been read, how long ago and how many times. It's really beneficial and I don't have to ask them whether they receive my email or not.

()  means that your email has been sent, but not opened.
(✓✓) mean that your lemail has been opened.

Pro plan:

Email Tracking for Gmail has a PRO plan for professionals using Gmail or Inbox. If you forget about the email that you sent don't worry they have a reminder for you.

No Mailtrack signature. Real-time read receipts when your emails are open.

They have an Email & phone support and Light CRM integration that sends a copy to your management software.

Free plan:

This software is free forever and you don't have to pay for it.

Students can use this addon when sending an email to a company and saves time to choose which company for internship.

Access to the dashboard and filter emails that have been ‘read’ or ‘not read’. They have an extension for Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Opera browsers that allows you to track emails.

3. Plagtracker

I use this software back then when I was doing a research assignment and the lecturer recommend this software to check for plagiarism and protecting your written work. Plagiarism checker benefits teachers, students, website owners, and anyone else interested in protecting their writing.

The software detector guarantees that anything you write can be thoroughly checked by our online plagiarism software to ensure that the texts are unique. I'm still using this checker as sometimes I have to write something.

How to check for plagiarism:

1. Upload your paper or you can enter the content into the text box.

2. Plagiarism checker will scan it by checking all Internet pages and their databases, housing more than 20 million academic works.

3. You receive the plagiarism report. This contains information about sections of the scan that needs to be cited a list of sources.

4. Office software: LibreOffice & Office Online.

Another alternative for Microsoft Office is LibreOffice. I used this when I was working with a furniture company and the features are the same as Microsoft Office Word, Power point and Excel. It's just you have to adapt with the interface of the software.

LibreOffice is a powerful office suite – its clean interface and feature-rich tools help you unleash your creativity and enhance your productivity. It includes several applications that make it the most powerful Free and Open Source office suite on the market.

You can get a student's discount for Microsoft Office, but it's still not that cheap. You can install LibreOffice for free and save money.

But, if you really need Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel you can check out Office Online. My old netbook doesn't have a Microsoft Word and so I use Office Online to make my assignment. It doesn't contain all the features of Microsft's desktop software but it has collaboration tools for group projects.

5. Google Drive

This software is the most popular software and I think that lots of people know about Google Drive.

Google Drive is a file storage and synchronization service developed by Google. You can get access to files anywhere through secure cloud storage and file backup for your photos, videos, files and more.

If you have a Gmail account you can use Google Drive to upload your finished assignment without having to worry if your PC or Laptop crashed or broken, or you could fall victim to a ransomware attack.

Google Drive protecting your documents as easy as possible. You have a total 15GB space for your files and that's a lot of space to me. You can use google drive on your PC, Laptop and even your phone! Don't forget that it requires an Internet to upload your files.
